High Performance Embedded Computing (HPEC)
Our HPEC systems have a proven track record to deliver supercomputing processing performance in rugged, compact deployable system architectures optimized for harsh military environments. Learn the latest about HPEC systems by visiting the HPEC Vanguard Blog.
Continuum HPEC systems consist of a large number of distributed processors, I/O, and software stacks connected by a low latency system fabric. With scalable architectures, dataflow modeling and configuration validation, Curtiss-Wright’s Continuum HPEC customers can source embedded supercomputing platforms that integrate Intel®-based multi-processor boards with AVX, GPGPU co-processors, Xilinx® FPGAs, SRIO and Ethernet switching with Open Standard software solutions, including VxWorks®, and Linux with OpenMPI and OFED software interfaces, using latest fielded thermal management systems like VITA 48.5 Air Flow Through Technology.
Member of the OpenFabrics Alliance (OFA)
The OpenFabrics Alliance (OFA) develops, tests, licenses and distributes the OpenFabrics Enterprise Distribution (OFEDTM) cross-platform, open-source software for high-performance, low-latency and energy-efficient computing. Our OFED support provides Curtiss-Wright’s Continuum HPEC customers with software that can be easily leveraged from platform generation to platform generation, and enables rapid code migration from commercial HPC-based systems, such as high-end workstations and blade servers, to rugged HPEC computer systems designed for defense and aerospace applications.
Joining the OpenFabrics Alliance enables us to provide our customers with the most advanced open architecture software designed especially for high performance computing, maximizing interoperability and speeding time to market.
