Video Distributor Card
The VDC receives up to four video signals and buffers each of them for distribution to four different display consoles. To allow other parts of the display system to function when the VDC is switched off, the card contains a number of bypass relays which connect each input directly to one of the possible outputs. The video inputs and two sets of video outputs are connected to the standard board via the user definable pins on P2 of the VME connector. Two sets of video outputs are accessible via 15-way D-type front panel connector.
