VME/VPX Open Frame Chassis
This Hybricon chassis solution is a 16/20-slot open frame style chassis that supports a 6U 10-slot VPX-REDI backplane with mixed slot pitch. The modified card cage accommodates custom 220 mm deep VPX modules. Open sides and top support access by engineering and test personnel for debugging, with a fan speed control knob. This custom variant of our standard OF-XC chassis provide extreme cooling of > 20 CFM per slot as well as a 1600W power supply.
We offer a wide range of desktop chassis or enclosures. These desktop form factors include open frame and tower styles as well as horizontal styles, and support a wide range of backplanes, including 6U backplanes, 3U backplanes, and chassis with hybrid 6U/3U backplanes. Supported backplane types include OpenVPX, VPX-REDI, VXS, CompactPCI, and VME64x, plus hybrid bus structures. Desktop chassis solutions are available to support conduction cooled modules as well as air cooled modules.
