VPX Desktop Chassis
This Hybricon custom enclosure solution is a 6-slot horizontal desktop style chassis that supports a 6U VPX REDI (1" pitch) backplane and provides extreme cooling of 18 CFM per slot as well as a 1900W power supply providing high power for both 5V and 12V centric payload; this chassis also includes automatic fan speed control. We offer a wide range of desktop enclosures or chassis.
These desktop form factors include open frame and tower styles as well as horizontal styles, and support a wide range of backplanes, including 6U backplanes, 3U backplanes, and chassis with hybrid 6U/3U backplanes. Supported backplane types include OpenVPX, VPX-REDI, VXS, CompactPCI, and VME64x, plus hybrid bus structures. Desktop chassis solutions are available to support conduction cooled modules as well as air cooled modules.
