3U/6U VPX Tower Chassis
This Hybricon forced air conduction cooled desktop solution (also known as desk top enclosure or desk-top chassis) provides a hybrid 3U & 6U conduction cooled card cage, with 1-slot 3U and 1-slot 6U; generous 3" slot spacing is provided to facilitate debug access.
Cooling is provided via (4) internal fans with forced air over heat sinks attached to the conduction rails. The enclosure features a custom 2-slot VPX backplane with 1-slot 3U VPX and 1-slot 6U VPX, along with a 400W embedded power supply.
We offer a wide range of desktop enclosures or chassis). These desktop form factors include horizontal, open frame, and tower styles, and support a wide range of backplanes, including 3U backplanes, 6U backplanes, and chassis with hybrid 3U/6U backplanes. Supported backplane types include OpenVPX, VPX-REDI, CompactPCI, VME64x, and VXS, plus hybrid bus structures. Desktop chassis solutions are available to support conduction cooled modules or air cooled modules.
