Curtiss Wright's VME-680 SwitchBlade provides systems integrators with a fast and powerful way to interconnect chassis, cards and even CPUs through Gigabit Ethernet links. Operating at wire-speed, Gigabit Ethernet switching is ideal for transferring control and data packets in advanced military platforms (air, land and sea based vehicles). Providing a flexible 12/20/24 port options, various types of port combinations can be achieved including Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and fiber optics (SX or LX) within a single VME slot.
