Dual Axes Intelligent Drive Servo Control Unit
Curtiss-Wright Controls Defense Solutions’ Twin-DRUi is a fully digitized power and signal electronics unit for 2 axes servo control. The customer interface (CIF), located in the Twin-DRUi, is designed as a project specific I/O board and serves as a link between all external components. The signal electronics incorporates a highly flexible I/O structure that includes many standardized interfaces including CANbus, MIL-STD-1553, RS-485, RS-422 as well as various analog inputs and outputs. The Twin-DRUi supports 180, 300, 360 and 600 Amp peak current per axis.
